Deacons Fund & Community Care
The Deacons Fund and local missions are very much interwoven. The Fund is supported when you give once a month at the door as you leave.
The congregation's gifts impactfully support folks in need in our Bethel Family and the Clover/York County community. Thousands of dollars annually flow into the fund and the Deacons meet to decide how best to spread the love of Christ through its dispersion.
In addition to supporting the ministries listed elsewhere on this page, the Deacons Fund provides direct assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship, including help with medical costs for unaffordable surgeries, meals and groceries for those recovering from illness, utility bills for households struggling to make ends meet, travel expenses for visiting hospitalized loved ones, and temporary lodging or rent support for those in crisis.
The Deacons also organize seasonal outreach efforts, such as collecting and distributing Thanksgiving groceries to community members in need each fall, ensuring that more families can enjoy a festive holiday meal.
If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please reach out to the Deacons through the church office.
