In 2014, Bethel Presbyterian Church joyfully celebrated its 250th Anniversary, marking a quarter of a millennium of worship and community. To honor the church’s founding in 1764, many members dressed in period attire, reflecting how attendees would have appeared at the original gathering. The commemoration brought together not only Bethel’s congregation but also pastors from sister churches, community members, and state historians. Together they recognized the enduring significance of Bethel Presbyterian Church in the life of York County and its place in the broader story of the United States.
